Also, if you have a time range selected, and you want to move the cursor to the start of this selected time, then as an alternative to using the cursor to sub menu on the transport menu, you can just press left arrow. This is the same as what happens in Word if you have some text selected - pressing left arrow moves the cursor to the start of that text, and right arrow moves the cursor to the end of that text.
