To record in Audacity, simply press the 'r' key - to stop recording, hit the space bar. To hear what you've recorded (or to listen to anything loaded into Audacity), hit the space bar. To play the audio repeatedly, hit the 'l' key (for 'loop play'). For other keyboard commands, go to http://users.northlc.com/sberry/kbd.htm .
