[audacity4blind] Updating Question

Hi All,

 

I've been using version 2.1.3  since I started with Audacity.  I mainly use
it for digitizing tapes and records and trimming tracks.  I'm about to buy a
new laptop and I'm wondering how different the current version is.  What
kind of new learning curve am I looking at here?  Thanks
