Ok, sorry - here on windows, under effects, it's, as far as I know, a
stock effect just labeled equalisation.

Makes it sound more like a telephone call recording - as in, almost drops the quality a bit, depending on context - I generally use things like treble boost and bass boost, along with a couple of other equalisation patterns to tweak recordings that weren't done in perfect environments, but, best would be to play around with them - the equalisation dialogue has a preview button to let you test them before applying them as well.
