Yes, I fancy I don’t know how to say this, it’s a brilliant effect but somehow
it doesn’t quite sound mono enough? Are there any other settings in there I
need to change, because I did try the eq effect but it was all different
numbers and I thought, better not to muck around.

the Filter curve effect has a telephone setting. (Press the manage button, open
the factory presets sub menu, and choose telephone.) Are you saying that this
setting does not sound very much like a phone call?
