Do you have the "interface host" set to wasapi? That might give you more
options.
Best,

Subject: [audacity4blind] Stereo Mix icon not appearing - win 10 Lenovo
Hi there,
Ever since I updated to Win 10, am not able to use audacity for recording
sound directly from my Lenovo laptop. Audacity doesn't see that Stereo
Mix
icon and although in the recording devices in the settings I have checked
to
be shown the disconnected / disabled icons, the stereo mix one is not
there.
I only have the internal microphone as possibility of recording selection
from my laptop.
I kept reading around that Lenovo has disabled this Stereo Mix function in
order to avoid piracy, what about other purposes then, like music
creation,
projects and so on? Anyone any idea what can be done about it?
Any particular drivers that I should download / install? Just now on
Conexant Smartaudio HD.
Thanks,
Adina
