Hi anabel,
What if you look at this in another way?
I you record a song in -rotools or logic, you record it in a project where all
tracks are saparated from each other.
So if you want to make another mix or make surround, the project makes it
possible.
Does that help/

Hi, it's Annabelle.
I've always wondered how blind musicians and audio engineers, but especially
sound designers would go about editing the spectrum of a recording. For
example, if someone wanted to digitally remaster a recording, turning it from
stereo to, say, surround 5.1. Or if they wanted to separate specific
instruments from a song. Would JAWS work with a spectral editor? How would I
be able to tell which waveform to isolate? Since when I listen to a
recording, there's usually lots of stuff going on all at the same time.
