Yes, temporarily switching off the Jaws scripts solves the problem.
Where do we go from here?

Hi David,
can you check whether temporarily switching off the Jaws script has any effect on the sluggish behaviour?
To do this, in the Jaws window, open the options menu, and choose manage applications settings. The manage applications settings dialog opens. In the manage applications listbox, select the audacity check box item, and uncheck it.

Hi.
I'm using Audacity 2.1.3 with Windows 10 and Jaws 18.
About a month ago or so, I downloaded the Jaws scripts available
for Audacity.
I've used the control+2 hotkey to set the zoom.
I'm experiencing a lot of sluggish behavior in Audacity when
editing recordings.
Are there any ad-ons I should disable?
Is there another solution to this problem?
Dave
