Hi! There’s an effect called Ramp Panning, which does exactly what you want.
You can download it here.

Subject: [audacity4blind] Sliding sound

Hi listers
I have some sound file like water, claps and want to use for my lecture.
Now I'd like this sound to move around (slide from left to right hand), but
don't know audacity can do this or not. If it can, how do I do this? Please
help me
Thank you very much
