Hi Justin
Scrubbing is so useful in many, many situations.  That is why I kept nagging to
have it included for so long.
Here are the relevant commands:
I scrubs forwards
U scrubs backwards
In both cases, audacity must be stopped.  That is, you cannot start scrubbing
when playing, or paused for that matter.
Speed of the scrub is determined by the level of zoom.
Control+2 sets zoom to normal.
Control+3 zooms out.
Control+1 zooms in.
Repeated presses of control+1 or control+3 will continue to zoom in or out
respectively.  When zooming right in, scrubbing is extremely slow and ideal for
making very tight edits.
Enjoy

Andrew

Subject: [audacity4blind] Scrubbing

I just got the latest version of audacity.  I see that it will now let me scrub
audio.  If this is JAWS friendly, can someone please give me the step by step
instructions.  This could be very useful when I'm cleaning up vinyl.
