Hi Alexander, the left and right arrow keys move the cursor by a small amount. If you want to move the cursor around to hear a few seconds before the end of the audio, you might find it easier to use the comma and period keys. These move the cursor backwards or forwards respectively. The default amount is one second. You can also use shift+comma and shift+period to move the cursor backwards or forwards by a larger amount. The default larger amount is 15 seconds. The lengths of the short and long shifts can be set in audacity's preferences. In the playback category the values share the values of the seek times when playing settings.
