Okay thanks allot David.
THe reason why i asked that i was reading some post that said audacity only
could record for about 45 minutes.
The best thing i can do is to try recording longer than that.

My understanding is that the only limitation is the amount of disk space you have on your hard drive. That is, Audacity will keep recording until either you stop recording or disk space runs out, whichever comes first.
