Please do get in touch with me out of list. You are into music, I know, if I can recall the name properly.

Dear freelists team, This is to bring into your notice that I use audacity with JAWS for recording purposes and editing tracks. I have recently upgraded to the latest version of audacity i.e audacity 1.3.13 beta version for windows XP. In the previous versions of audacity, at the time of recording, I had no problems and the voice was also much clear and less distorted compared to this new version. I went through the audacity 1.3.13 guide on the web and tried to perform the steps mentioned regarding amplifying the recording and adjusting the volume settings of the default audio device, however the results were not satisfactory. As the input level was not shown on the toolbar, I was advised to adjust the volume of the default device through the sounds and the audio devices in the control pannel and by selecting the audio tab. Hence, I would be extremely greatful if you could offer me a sollution regarding this problem. Thank you Vasundhara Raturi.
