Hi,
I figured it out myself. I press X at the point on the 1st track where I want
the 2nd track to start recording and then hit shift-R.

Hello everyone,
I'm sure the answer to this is a setting that I need to change or something.
I used to be able to get a new track to start recording at whatever point I
invoked the keystroke during playback of a previously recorded track. This
worked like a sort of punch-in to fix mistakes and such for me. Now it always
starts at the beginning of the 1st track no matter when I start the new track.
Thanks for any help,
StanB
