It works fine for me on a Windows 7 laptop.

What keystroke did you press?

I tried out NVDA key + A while both recording and playing on my windows 10 64 bit machine, and it read out times to me.

Stay well

Thanks for the addon. Does it have any incompatibility with windows 10
or is there another thing i need to do? I pressed the key stroke while
plahing back

and recording but nothing is anounced. I'm using last version of NVDA.

Not natively.
You have to install an addon.
The only one I know of is my own:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/q3fz42h7ujkh4z5/audacity_2.1.3.nvda-addon?dl=1

The command you'll probably need is NVDA+a which returns the audio
position, i.e. the playback or recording cursor.
There are others you might find useful.
Help should be included (per addon-manager).
Otherwise, the keystrokes are also listed in the input manager under "Audacity".

If you have the JAWS scripts for Audacity, you can use Alt+Delete. This
also works during playback.

Hi every one.

Can any of you tell me if it is possible to check how long we are
recording?

Is there a key stroke that tells us: you are recording for 1 hour and 2
minuts for instance. Thanks for any information. I haven't found that in
the manual.
