Hi!
I don't think you can, but you could insert silence in the first track where
the pause should be. Alternatively, you could split the first track into two
tracks, one containing what comes before the pause and the other containing
what comes after it. Then you align the two tracks to acommodate the desired
pause. Of course this is best done after recording the third track. If you want
to record in overdub mode, Method one is better.

Cheers, Robbie

Subject: [audacity4blind] Pause a track while recording other track

Hi listers
Can I pause the first track, and rezume while recording the second track?
In my country, there are some tradictional song require the instrament player
should be paused, and wait for singer, and I don't know Audacity can do it or
not. If it can do, please show me.
Thanks so much, and sorry because my English isn't enough to describe more.
