David Bailes, who is on this List, has written a Guide to Audacity for
screen reader users. It is at

Also remember that the Audacity Manual, available from the Help Menu, is
well worth a read. While most of it is not aimed at screen reader users
specifically, there is lots of valuable information there.
If you prefer an audio introduction, I cobbled something together a couple
of years ago. You can download it from

As you start using Audacity, questions and problems are likely to arise.
Drop a line here and someone will very likely have the answer (or at least
commiserate).
