That appeared to work, thanks. Strange that the other alpha’s I’ve run did not
have this “smart” dialog appear.

Hi David,
A smart screen dialog is being opened, because it's an executable that isn't
very common, and Windows is trying to protect you. As you've discovered, Jaws
doesn't read this dialog very well. To run the program after the dialog has
opened, tab to the more info button and press it, then tab to the run anyway
button and press that.
