Hi James,
I find NVDA the better screen reader for most things but I have found that Jaws
is much more informative with Audacity.
Have only been using it for a couple of days but so far so good.
By hitting Jaws key + h you will get a list of the commands within Audacity.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Adrian

Subject: [audacity4blind] NVDA vs. JAWS with Audacity...
Dear friends,
I have just acquired a new lap top that I want to use as my DAWS machine.
I have also just started using NVDA a bit. My question is whether there is any
significant differences between using Audacity with JAWS vs. NVDA? NVDA is
currently on this machine, but I also have JAWS to put on if it would offer any
real advantages. What do you think between the two different screen readers,
and their usage with Audacity?
Thank you very much for your help!
James
