Hi Ted,

I'm not sure this fits your symptoms exactly, but on the tracks menu, on the 
align tracks sub menu, check whether the option Move selection with tracks 
(on/off) is checked. If Checked, then choose it to toggle it off.

I think I’ve messed up a setting slightly. When I move a track to cursor, the 
focus moves to the end of the track that was just moved. How/what do I change
