I'm making a soundscape with Atmosphere Deluxe
(http://www.vectormediasoftware.com/atmdeluxehome.htm), which is basically a
program that allows one to make soundscapes consisting of the sounds they
like, then they can either put them on CD, or even upload them to the web
site of the Atmosphere Deluxe Registered Users Area
(http://www.vectormediasoftware.com/deluxeusersarea).

Hi Annabelle!
Nice one. I had a go at this.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6687164/White%20Zone%20No%20Parking%20lo
op10x.wav?dl=1
First I trimmed roughly 11 seconds of silence at the end. Since you had
already faded the street noise in and out, I selected the audio from start
to finish, copied it to the clipboard and positioned the cursor just after
the female no parking announcement. Then I added a new track and pasted the
audio. This created an overlap which due to your fades, amounts to a
crossfade. When I had five tracks, I selected all and mixed them down to
one. Then for good measure I selected that mix and added another track as
per above. This gives you 10 cycles. Anyone staying in the white zone for
that long can definitely be accused of parking...

The Audacity manual recommends working with Zero Crossings when creating
loops, but I prefer to use crossfades. They give you more freedom regarding
the length and sound of the overlap. I find that this method works
particularly well with ambient noise.

Cheers! Robbie

Hi, it's Annabelle.
I'm trying to loop this bit of audio that I've constructed from three
different clips, I want to make it so that it will play as a loopable
background sound. How would I do this? Here's the file in an attachment.
