I agree with the others. Please go with the new way of making audacity
accessible to the Mac. Please do all you can and make it as Futureproof as
possible as well. It would be great if those of us who prefer the Mac could
have an accessible version of audacity for years to come.

Mac accessibility. Behind the scenes, there two different ways I can do it.
The old way and the new way.
The old way would allow Audacity to be accessible from 10.7 and up. But this
method has been deprecated since macOS 10.10. While it still works, even on
10.15, there’s no telling when Apple may decide to pull it out completely.
The new way would limit Audacity’s accessibility to macOS 10.10 or newer, but
it would be more future proof.
My preference is the new method, but do you folks think the 10.10 or above
limitation is too restrictive?
