unfortunately it's unlikely that this will be improved in the near future.
It would involve extending the accessibility framework of wxWidgets to work
on Linux. This would require a fair amount of work by a developer who was
familiar with the linux platform. You could try asking the people on the
wxWidgets project if they have any plans to improve their accessibility
support.

For the point 1, moving with up and down arrows across thracks simply does
not announce anything.
For the point 2, if I go to keyboard settings and TAB beyond the search
dialog, the tree or list of keybindings is not spoken.
Do you think this could be improved?

very limited. Audacity uses the wxWidgets library for the graphical user
interface. This does contain a framework for making the custom controls in
Audacity accessible, but only on Windows. So problems with Orca not reading
the names of some controls can not be easily fixed. For this to change the
accessibility framework in wxWidgets would have to be extended to work on
Linux.
However, there are probably some navigation problems, not being able to
reach controls by tabbing, or the focus getting stuck on a control that
might be able to be fixed.
