I tried it with both NVDA & jaws.

I use NVDA as primary speech.

By way of elimination, what happens if you turn off the JAWS script?

Well, as they use to say on that old 60's show, Laugh in,

"Very interesting""

Thanks anyway.

Hi Adrian

The short answer is no.  I have tried all manner of having tracks selected,
not selected, project unnamed and named and importing audio just keeps
adding another track.  I now have six tracks of discordant rubbish.  Some
are mp3 and some wav.

Morning Andrew,

Yeah, did that

I think I will read the instructions to get a better understanding of when
to use labels.

Thanks to you I can create & move them  using your audio guide.

One thing I did find when playing around is  that if I  import an audio file
into a project & then go & import another file it opens a new session & only
puts in the 1 file.

If I drag & drop, not a problem.

This is in ver 2.4.1.

I never had this issue with ver 2.3.3.

Anyone else had this issue?

Regards

Adrian

Hi Adrian

Did you select the label with alt-arrow?  Doing that selects contents of the
label in the same way that selecting a range with left and right brackets
would.  If you want to start playing from where the label starts and don't
want it to stop at the end of the label, press left arrow

.  That will clear the selection

Hi Andrew,.  The same thing happens when using clips.

Andrew

Found your instruction very helpful.

I have a question though.

I was able to move the lables on the track without any issues.

I am having trouble playing the entire track from start to end.

It only seems to play the lable.

To clarify, I created a new label track.

made recording

created 3 labels.

Moved 3rd to 2nd position

What have I done wrong.

FYI, I ended up with 2 trackes.

Thanks

Adrian
