Here's what I think is going on. Suppose you are standard user
standarduser. APPDATA is users\standarduser\appdata, so the JAWS
scripts are in standarduser\appdata\freedom.... So you run the
installer, which prompts for the admin password. While the installer
runs it is running as admin, and APPDATA is admin\appdata, so the
scripts are installed in admin\appdata\freedom..., but when scompile
runs it looks for them in standarduser\appdata\freedom... and can't find
audacity.jss. I'm not sure why scompile looks in standarduser when the
installer is running as admin, and I don't know how to get the location
of appdata from standarduser, which is what needs to happen. I need to
research how to deal with this-- maybe the NSIS requestexecutionlevel
instruction can help.

I'm not quick sure what you mean by getting the script folder structure to
appear. If you you've run Jaws as that user, then the Jaws folder stuff should
be there in the roaming profile.

Audacity 2.1.2.

Please note that although the installer installs and compiles the
scripts into the selected language folders, the JAWS script compiler
always compiles the script files for the language of the
currently-running version of JAWS. Therefore, after installing you
will need to run JAWS with each of the other languages and compile
the scripts "manually". This is a kind of silly implementation but
it's the best I've come up with so far given the way the script
ompiler works. I am open to any suggestions!
The script has a new home. The script is now hosted on GitHub. You
can download the 2.1.0-beta3 installer here.
The installer exe for the current "official release" is also there (although
not the same binary file, it should have been built from the same source and should be
functionally equivalent).
You can view the latest README. (This may be newer than the one in the beta 3
release.)
