Thanks, will check it out, but, issue is not really player itself, but,
some form of streaming service - as in, can already handle choosing what
gets sent to a page-hosted player, and when, etc., but, was also trying
to sort out something that would work with other, more standard versions
of internet radio client software, etc.
But, nothing wrong with looking into code like this, so, thanks, again.

Hi Jacob
I am not at all sure that the following is what you are looking for, although
it may well form part of the puzzle. Terrill Thompson at the University of
Washington has developed a fully accessible multimedia player. Check out
http://ableplayer.github.io/ableplayer. Its features go well beyond what is ;
offered by the basic HTML5 controls. It requires some HTML knowledge to set up
but (a) it seems like you have that and (b) the source code of his examples is
an excellent resource.
I was having niggling issues until a learned colleague pointed out that it must
be run on a server. For my modest purposes, I installed Xamp. However, you
already have a server.

Subject: [audacity4blind] Internet radio streaming
Know bit off-topic, but, since it's somewhat audio related, thought might as
well as ask here.
Busy looking into/considering setting up a form of internet
radio/streaming system/service, and, while can already put together my
own, web-page hosted version, which just handles a form of
server-processed/manipulated track by track queueing, playing the audio
content using html5 <audio /> page elements, I have also managed to
setup an icecast service on my web server, but, the issue there is
passing audio on to it, etc.
So, thought would just ask if anyone here has experience with setting up
relatively accessible internet audio streaming services/systems that can
be then consumed by standard internet radio software, like tapIn on the
PC, and things like tuneIn, on smart phones?
And, if so, how is the server-side stream output handled, and, what
forms of interface are offered to what's effectively the DJ, in terms of
queue manipulation, close to real-time audio recording, for speaking,
etc. etc.?
TIA
