Hi,

Some of you may be interested in a U R L that was suggested on the regular Audacity users group, pertaining to audio compression with mp3 and ogg/vorbis, both file types which can be listened to and encoded in Audacity. Rather technical in places. Remeber that you need to separately download the Lame encoder to work with Audacity, it's specified on their website.

Linkname: How to encode top quality audio-files using Windows, LAME,
          Ogg Vorbis
        URL: http://jthz.com/mp3/
