Hi Egbert,
shift+g opens a dialog where you can enter a gain in db.
My understanding is that the keystrokes on a mac are the same as on a pc, 
except for control key is command key or something. So you can use the 
keystrokes given in the Jaws guide.

i work with the mac.
solo and mute i found out. but gaining a track not.
Can you tell me how to do that?
