Unfortunately NVDA repeating the track name isn't going to be fixed for the
next release, but here's a link to a portable version of a more recent

It has only recently come to my attention that using NVDA, the track name
can be unnecessarily repeated in certain situations. This may depend on the
speed of your cpu, and I would appreciate if anyone could check the
following, and let me know the behaviour on your computer.
1. When a track is the focused, then when pressing Enter to change the
selectedness, the track name is consistently read twice.
2. When moving the focus to another track, occasionally the track name is
read twice.
Also, if the track name is repeated, how annoying is it?
Please note that there is a known bug in this release candidate that when
the Track view regains focus, the name of the focused track is not read.
This also affects the reading of track labels using Alt + Left/Right
arrow. This will be fixed in the released version.
