This is Bob Smith. I have listened to Gene Asner's presentation of Audacity and can say it is very good. The sound in clean and clear at least as it came to me. He discusses installation, reviews commands for recording, playing, and several of the items on the "effects" menu. He moves along quickly, but does take time to repeat some things. It's especially good for insecure users like me. There are questions from his listening audience as well.

I have dial-up, it would take more than 2 hours to download the seventeen-plus megs.
