[audacity4blind] Export as MP3

Hi all.
Having taped some music I wish to transfer it to my mp3 player. It tells me I
need to download an mp3 decoder, which I have done.
However, when I try to save a file as mp3 it says that the decoder file isn't
found. I also read somewhere that the decoder file needs unzipping, and I have
no idea how you do this.
Any help is gratefully received.
