It would actually be possible to create a drum plug-in that takes a label track
as input.
You could for instance create a label "K" and you would have a kick sound at
that place or one "KSHL" for kick, snare, hi hat and splash at the same time or
even "K7W3" for kick at velocity 7 and cow bell at 3.
That would be a fun project, I think.
