The drum effects I found were not real good.

Goodaye Robert,
Haven't used labels yet but it's a good time to learn.
Sounds like a cup of port is in order....
Thanks for your ongoing help.

Kindest regards
Adrian

It would actually be possible to create a drum plug-in that takes a label track
as input.
You could for instance create a label "K" and you would have a kick sound at
that place or one "KSHL" for kick, snare, hi hat and splash at the same time or
even "K7W3" for kick at velocity 7 and cow bell at 3.
That would be a fun project, I think.

The stand alone Nyquist has also some drum sounds/demo:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/nyquist/files/pl-drums/1.00/

Hi Adrian

If you mean playing a drum, my patchy knowledge says not for Audacity,
but more knowledgeable folk may correct me.  Many instruments,
including freebies, are available.  However, they require the DAW
(digital audio
workstation) to support MIDI beyond what Audacity does.

Hi all,

Just wondering if there is a plug in to create drum beats?
