Hi, All,
The audio in the Dropbox link below is a snippet of an old tape of a school
play. The tape recorder was as close to the action on stage as they could
set it, but not the professional sound quality we are all used to today.
There is a hissing sound, as if the volume on the machine weren't turned up
enough. Is there a way to get that hissing sound out using Audacity, and if
so, please tell me how.
I haven't used Audacity for much except changing the pitch and straight
recording, so making it simple for me will help tremendously.
