Hi Steve,
Thanks for this, although I still have questions. Where do I find the album you
refer to, and how do I select the songs, especially if they aren't consecutive?
Thanks.
Diane

I put these instructions together after finally figuring it out. Hope someone
finds them helpful.
Steve
Burning a disc with Windows 10
1. install blank disc into drive.
2. Open album and select all songs you want burned Control+A.
3. open Application menue and enter on, Send To, then enter on the CD Drive.
The drive opens and asks which kind of disc to choose. Choose to use with a
CD player then tab to next. This will lead to a message that says You have
files ready to be burned to disc.
4. Open Application Menu and enter on Burn to disc. The first round in the
dialog has disc name and recording speed and I leave these on the defaults.
After hitting the Next button you have a choice to make. There are two
choices. Be sure to choose, Make an audio CD for standard CD players.
Hitting the Next button will take you to the Media Player.
5. Tab until you find the Start Burn button . Enter on this button and
you’re off to the races.
6. Go back to the drive, open Application menu and enter on Delete Tempory
Files to clear the files for the next burn.

Wait a minute, I'm confused; WMP can burn. It can't do DVD's but it can do
CD's. I know because, when you put a blank CD in and copy files to the drive,
it says "You have files waiting to be written to the disk" and you can click
that and then a wizard comes up; I'm pretty sure that wizard is WMP; "What kind
of CD do you want to make, Audio CD/Data CD" is the first question that the
wizard shows. I thought that was WMP; I'm pretty sure. So if you copy files
into the CD drive when a blank disk is in, it will say how many files are
waiting to be written; I think you can press enter on that, or right click on
the drive itself and click "Burn to disk using Windows Media Player".
Yeah, I was sure that was all Windows Media Player being able to burn files to
a CD.

Thank you Mike! This sounds great. I don't actually mind not being
able to download tags, because the DAWS that I will be putting the
software on is not connected to the Internet. I of course have other
computers that do connect, but in the attempt to avoid any strange
bugs or other things that can mess things up, I have not connected my
main DAWS to the Internet.
This
drives friends crazy and they think that I am paranoid, but I don't
have to fight a virus every other week like they do either. *smile*
And I also wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Hello James and happy holidays to you and your family. Yes there's an
accessible cd burning software that allows you to not only burn cds
but rip cds as well. The only downside is that if you rip cds, you'll
have to manually tag the files, as unlike WMP, it does not have an
online database at which to download metadata. The program is
Anyburn, and you can download it for free by going to:
http://www.anyburn.com
The site also has tutorials in written format that you can read
directly from the site, and/or copy/paste into a word or other
document editor for easy reading.

Dear friends,
Does anyone know of a CD burning program that is especially
accessible?
Of course what I want to do is take a recording off of Audacity, and
then burn it to a CD. It would also be great if I could rip songs
off of a CD.
And as you guys probably can guess, I especially like either low
cost, or free! *smile*
