Hi Vitor
Check if you are running my NVDA add-on.
It has some recursive examination code in it that could cause the problem.
I think the preference tree has to much depth which it cannot cope
with properly.
I will probably exclude the preference dialog from examination in future.
Try it a few times with the add-on disabled to ensure that it is
really the culprit.

Hi everyone.
I'm trying to set a time and path for an auto saved file. The problem is
that Audacity seems to get sluguis when i'm tabing down through the
various settings. The same happens with many other preferences. Is
anyone encountering the same problem? If so, have you found a work
around? Thanks.
