My concern is Studio one is not blind friendly. I been at this many years and I
find it very complicated years ago I used cakewalk I also found it over
complicated that's when I went to Audacity.
It does have a lot going on and is admazing the people who designed the
operation manual are way behind whoever designed the program.

Possibly. I would be doing 2 or 3 tracks, but I could always put the new
recording tracks using R for record on Audacity, or New Track on GarageBand.
Need one that is blind friendly. For aux-in or a quarter inch adapter. And a
3.5 mm line-in for a keyboard.

I was speaking of. You maybe able to get a cheaper one without the Studio
onepackage I have a PresSonus interface and I am very happy with it. It
has all the abobve USB XRL it can take ¼ . Todo 1/8 you would need an adapter
as well if you want to use a 1/8 headset theheadset is ¼ female it does midi RC
and Adadt also has a multi port that doesboth XRL and ¼ And I just tried it
on Audacity it does show up in mike andspeakers choices in Audacity however it
also depends on your PC and/or soundcard. Here is a link to a audacity
forum that speaks in that and italso mentions with multi tracking at the same
time which Dave had said in aprior post. Audacity does not support ASIO
drivers (due to licensingrestrictions) so if you get an ASIO sound card, make
sure that it hasalternative drivers (for Windows these are usually called WDM
drivers) What happens is I can do up to 2 lines in at the same timeon a
stereo track. Left side is one channel right being the other. I also canor have
to if I do one at a time split the stereo channel so I can then panleft or
right separate to each channel. What I am not able to do is more then 2 at a
time that’s whyI was looking at the others mentioned and had a same question
what one can domulti tracks in Audacity particularly 4 tracks.
Its important to verify with that any interface you get will work with Audacity
and/or your PC laptop etc.

interfaces available for lowcost, with either a quarter inch adapter one, or an
XLR one. And Ineed a spot with a 3.5 mm jack for headphones. This would be for
a mic, but I could also use one for line-in for my keyboard 3.5mm jack as well.
This would go in to a USB of my Windows computer. I have the latest version of
audacity. As cheap as possible, but still good.
