That's a sad thing to hear.
Those devices are renown for their reliability, especially the second
generation (with HD in the name). I would suggest that you upgrade to
the latter (perhaps 20 to 30 dollars more).
Best
Robert

It shouldn't be necessary if you press that ominous first button from
the right (it is beside the knob that determines the mix playback and

That is, it should be halfway in (=on) afterwards.
Tell me exactly what you hear after that.

Hi, it's ages since I've been called Bert... ;-)

The instructions are very simple:
You have presumably a row of five tiny buttons on the front (top,
center). Press the rightmost one, just beside a turning knob.
That gives you the same input signal on both ears.
Cheers

It

Marissa is hearing what is being played back through Audacity
through
both

think
of
sound card settings - my excuse is that my ZED10 has pan knobs.

Marissa, let us know how you get on with Robert's instructions.  If
problems persist, I can call you late Tuesday your time.

Hi Marissa
I can't believe that monitoring doesn't work for you with that
audio
interface.
Is your primary sound card the built-in one?
I ask because mine is the Behringer.
- a cinch to jack adaptor on the backside feeds my speakers.
- The headphones jack is on the front, bottom right.

Have you checked your sound settings?

Windows+R to open the run dialog
mmsys.cpl -> OK

That brings you to the playback tab.
Go through the list until "Speakers Behringer" is selected.
You can now click on "Configure" which let's you choose how many
channels
are used, select stereo -> next Front left/right -> next -> finish.
You can also check the balance.

Open the same dialog (Win+R, return)
- Behringer202 -> Properties.
Control+Tab until you're on the levels tab.
Tab until you're on balance.
Adjust the sliders if they are not equal.

Cheers
Robert

Hey guys. So I am looking to get a different audio interface.
Found

aGuitar Center close by and Amazon and ebay, so I have no

I
don't really need, because I don't understand that, and I just
need
a
monitoring port. Blind friendly—of course—and easy to use. I have
0
