Wait, what?
I was responding to Ted’s comment that he said he had to press the space bar to
select the audio between the brackets (for reference, Ted said: “After putting
down the markers, you must select the audio between the markers by pressing the
space bar.
"). Personally I never have to press the space bar unless I want to start or
stop the audio playback.
Are we on the same page? Is DavidB TedG? Am I in a time warp?
Me so confused,

Hi David,
at the point I was suggesting pressing spacebar, playback was paused, and so
pressing spacebar would stop playback, rather than start it.
David.

Actually, pressing the space bar will start playback of the section you

Right. After putting down the markers, you must select the audio between the
markers by pressing the space bar.

<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> I can't reproduce the problem
using the steps that you've given.
<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> However, at the end of step
4, it would be safer to press spacebar after pressing the right bracket so that
playback is stopped rather than just paused when you press ctrl + N to open a
new project. If you do this, do you still have the same problem?

<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> Regardless, I do not
understand why the file would not play. You should be able to alt-tab in and
out of Audacity and still have it play when you press x. Could you give a step
by step account of your process.
<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> Is Audacity playing normally
when you first play a file?
<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> I do not have 2004, as they
are rather slow at getting updates to this part of the world. Looking at known
issues, they mention an unresolved issue with some Bluetooth devices. There
was also mention of an audio issue, but seemed to my limited understanding to
relate to Audacity. Perhaps you have found one one that does.

<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> Hi all, this is Michael and I
have a question here. Ever since I upgraded my work station to the latest

<http://www.freedomscientific.com/Certification> I have this entity of putting

which part did I messed up?
