[audacity4blind] Audacity and turntable

Hello, my name is Michael Robles. I am new to this list and software, so I'll
take all the help I could get! I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit, and
NVDA 9238,e8203e8 and also the latest version of Jaws 14. Now, to the problem.
I plug in my turntable to one of my 4 USB ports, and speech just turns off, no
matter what I have loaded, be it NVDA or Jaws. Am I doing something wrong? Am I
supposed to download anything? Please, someone help! I have a lot of piles of
records to convert.
