ASIO has normally very low latency and that's its main advantage apart
from being able to record more than the usual 2 channels as a maximum.
The latency is also less deviating and stabler than with Wasapi.
However, these things all depend on the audio card and the driver it provides.
ASIO has often a dedicated control panel (for sample rate and so on)
and probably a button in the info task bar. Unfortunately, those
controls are not always accessible.

I will be glad to test this new addon specially with selection commands.
What exactly is Asio? What does it do?
For multitracking, i use wasapi, but sometimes i have to keep correcting
latency.Does anyone know if Asio would avoyde this?
Thanks very much.
