Hi Gale, I am interested in adding a recorded track in the middle of another recorded track. I will try the instructions that David just sent me. Thanks. But how > do I add a track in the middle of another track? Hope you can help. Thanks. Diane, Are you asking about what's known as "punch-in" recording - *recording* into the middle of another track? If so Audacity can only do that manually, by removing the original segment you want to replace, recording a new segment underneath, then blending the new segment into the original recording. It can be complicated or quite simple depending how smoothly or exactly you want to replace the existing recording with the new one. Steve wrote some complex steps here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=168245#p168245 . The steps will need rewriting for the visually impaired.
