The website is still a work in progress, but I'm trying to get the live version up with the basic stuff before freshers' week. I think most of it is there now. You don't need to know your old login because it's a new forum. I couldn't recover the old forums because they'd expired and were on some free host. Just register again. If you're emailing committee stuff, just CC to aucompsci-committee@xxxxxxxxxxxxx so the whole committee gets it. Those captions took aaaaaages to find. Some of them I just couldn't find any for so we might have to have a competition. Its all looking pretty nice and i think its gonna be a great addition to the society, i can also safely say that i have no idea what my login is for the forum, i was under the impression that you'd sent out a comitte email with all that stuff in there, then again it could have been a cider dream, who knows? anyway, the site looks great, i like the captions for the forum titles aswell, i hope we can get them all up and running. Cheers for the hard work dude, i'll make sure to save some MDew for ya. Did this ever get anywhere? As you can see it's from the 18th April last year. ===== From: au-compsci-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [au-compsci-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] on behalf of Mason, Alicia [a.mason.06@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, April 18, 2009 5:34 AM To: au-compsci@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: DIT Linux helpdesk i got approved as a Linux troubleshooter, along with a couple of people from Physics, after i mentioned it offhand at the last SSLC. we could still do with a real, proper, CompSci Linux helpdesk though, but it'll make a good stopgap.
