On TMK I remember I once had trouble on low-power chipsets only when
running the laptop on battery power without the AC adapter plugged
in. Adding this to the TMK makefile fixed it:
OPT_DEFS += -DNO_SUSPEND_POWER_DOWN
But this is already enabled on the Atreus branch of the TMK codebase, so
maybe you already have this on?
