Myself I can't, I use one of them as a layer switch for a layer with media
keys, f keys and similar rarely used stuff. The other one is unused.

What finger/thumb do you use on the new central keys on the Atreus? They
look too high for thumb keys, can you reach them with your first finger?

I'm curious about the ergodox thumb cluster. I have a regular Atreus, and
find I can comfortably hit three keys with each thumb - the 'backspace'
key, the center 'control' key, and the shift key immediately outside the
backspace key. I've also got a Keyboardio and an X-bow, and have settled on
a keymap that uses the thumb for these three keys (or whatever is closest
to those locations) on each.
How do you hit all those different thumb keys on the ergodox? It looks
like there are at least six keys for each thumb, that sure looks awkward? I
know a lot of people really like it, but I can't visualize how you use it.

Oooh. I think Kinesis as Ergodox have got that thumb key configuration
right. Though, the split design means I can't easily put in on my lap. :)
