Agreed. M-< and M-> are so awkward to type on the atreus so a custom
prefix is ideal. Isn't the "official" suggestion to use C-c? I use M-
Backspace too often to delete words.
Yes, C-c is standard, but I find it a bit awkward, with both keys on the
left hand. Before I got the Atreus, I used M-space (with just-one-space
bound to M-space space). That's tough with space and alt both on the
right, so now I also bind M-BACKSPACE to my personal prefix. Backward
kill word is set to M-BACKSPACE BACKSPACE, and I made it a repeating
command. Bouncing the backspace twice is only fractionally slower than
M-BACKSPACE on its own, and if I need to delete multiple words I can let
go of the alt key after the first.
All of which may be a bit much if C-c works well for you ;)
