I found that ensuring that the keys were soldered flush to the board made a
big difference, and that using a screwdriver to "pin" the switch down while
I used a cap puller - with the usual gentle side-to-side motion worked
well. They're definitely a tighter fit than MXes, but they come off pretty
reliably.

As others have noted, re-soldering doesn't require removing the
keycaps. If you must remove the keycaps for other reasons, I would
recommend desoldering the switch first so you can pull the cap off on
its own without the rest of the board.
