Mainly as a "why not!?" exercise, but also to help me when I forget that the
function layer is toggled (:facepalm:), I added a 128x64 OLED display. It's
driven over I2C (after moving a couple pins), using the QMK driver. It displays
the complete keymap for the active layer (no more reference pages floating
around for finding those infrequently-used keys, although you may need reading
glasses instead), with easily configurable character maps, and has a splash
screen with logo and firmware info. Full write-up at

It was easy enough that if you could build the kit you can add the display. I
just got a shipping notice for my Keyboardio Atreus, so it will be interesting
to see how hackable that is.
