[atreus] Alternative firmware?

I've been using an Ergodox Infinity for a couple of months and will be
starting on an EZ soonish, and now expecting an Atreus kit in the near
future.

All three devices seem to use a different microcontroller, and all things
considered I'd love to be able to minimize the number of ways I program
them all. I'd like to have as similar a configuration on the Atreus and the
Ergodox as possible, given their variance in size and number of keys.

So the question is, is there one firmware (toolkit) to rule them all? I
really liked working with KLL and am hoping to fool around with some of
it's more complex features in the future, but I get the impression it might
not fit on the Teensy 2 on the EZ, and I've got no idea about the A-star.

I suppose it would be possible to build some sort of lingua franca, but I
was sort of hoping to avoid that.
