The sticky console buttons is a fairly common problem. I've replaced several of those buttons in the past. The replacement buttons usually cost from $1 to $2 a piece. Hehehe hadn't considered that. Silly me. Setting it up was annoying enough that I'd kind of blanked out the option of cracking open the case again. I did have the foresight to socket the rom. Oh, btw, the switches on my console are kind of sticky; they don't open and close very cleanly. Sometimes pushing down gets multiple jumps on the cursor in the DevOS screen. It takes a couple of HARD pushes to get the power to come on at all. Is this a common problem? Is there an easy remedy? - -- adam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://cuddlepuddle.org/~adam KG6GZR http://cuddlepuddle.org/~adam/resume.html "Did he get the girl? Oh, yeah.
