Dear DTM Colleagues,
I wanted to bring your attention to a workshop that Neera Jain and I are
organizing at the American Control Conference (ACC) being held in
Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday, June 26th at the Hilton Milwaukee Hotel. This
may be of interest to members of the of the Design Engineering Division in
The workshop is called: *Interdisciplinary Research to Advance the
State-of-the-Art in Human Machine Interaction and Human Robot Interaction.
*The intended audience is faculty, students, and other researchers who are
interested in engaging in multi- and transdisciplinary collaborations in
the broader areas of human-machine and/or human-robot interactions.
Confirmed speakers include researchers in human factors and psychology at
Sandia National Laboratories and the Air Force Research Laboratory as well
as program managers at NSF. The workshop will include participant
engagement through breakout sessions as well as a panel discussion related
to multidisciplinary funding opportunities as they relate to this topic.
